New SARDONYX Album in the Works
We had a great time during the first week of September at Alaska Audio Works in Chugiak, Alaska. Bill Pagaran worked very hard laying down drum tracks which will be replacing the existing electronic scratch tracks. Check out this video from inside the control room.
Please pray for our main engineer mix down and mastering guru, (and guitarist for the project) Rod Feltman, who is co-producing this new project with frontman, Tom Denlinger. Rod will be working on these songs over the next few weeks.
Many of you have asked if the band will ever play these songs live. Honestly, we don't have any current plans to do that. The nature of these songs are more of conducive to a more theatrical, epic, and larger venue performance. Because of the reality of being an older band who has not released anything in 12 years, we know that playing larger shows will probably not become a reality. We are happy just being able to release this new powerful music that God has clearly given us.
Please pray for God to work through all of us in the coming days. Because of the spiritual (warfare) nature of these lyrics, we would also appreciate your prayer for our protection against the enemy who seeks to sift us as wheat. We know that is his desire. But as Jesus said, "for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me" (John 14:30).
Please be patient. This project comes from our hearts and we cannot release it until it the music captures the excellence of the message.
Keep us in your prayers...mix and mastering is underway...pray for Gods power and words to speak loudly through this new project...we're excited to bring it to you very soon and pray it changes your life...this isnt a lightweight project by any means...its time we pray for reformation in our industry and come back to knowing why we believe what we believe and moving and ministering in POWER!
