RAVENED Releases First Single

Ravened releases the First single from the debut album “from the Depths” today

Uppsala, Sweden. June 19th, 2020

Ravened, a young modern metal band from Sweden, with family connections to bands like Hellfueled, Narnia, The Waymaker and Audiovision, releases its debut album From the Depths August 7th. First single – From the Depths – is available today on all major digital platforms, along with a music video. The album is released by record label JONO and distributed by Sound Pollution.

Ravened from Jönköping, Sweden, started in 2018 and plays modern metal merged with influences from the past from bands like Pantera, Bloodbath, Lamb of God, and Metallica.

The members are between 19-24 years old, but the music has been a big part of their lives for generations. Olle Liljegren (guitars, songwriter) is son to Simeon Liljegren (Modest Attraction, Audiovision), and nephew to Christian Liljegren (Narnia, The Waymaker, Audiovision, Divinefire, Golden Resurrection, etc.) and drummer Oliwer Svensson is son to Kent Svensson (Hellfueled).

– These guys have poured 100% of their hearts into the tracks, which would attract both listeners interested in the technical aspect of music, as well as anyone who just loves great metal. says Jonatan Samuelsson, founder and owner of record label JONO, and continues: – Ravened has a hunger and passion like few other bands in their age. They have started their journey towards an exciting future. This is where it all starts!

From the Depths is recorded in Lund, produced by Ulf Blomberg (HoboRec) and will be released on CD and digitally August 7th by JONO, and distributed by Sound Pollution.

Today the title track ­– From the Depths – is available on all major digital platforms, along with a music video, produced by Attila Bagi.
