A metal rock documentary done right. Trenches of Rock digs in and hits the viewer straight between the eyes about the unenviable but delicious spot that Bloodgood found themselves in - between a rock and a hard place. Too religious for the metal scene and too metal for the religious scene. All excellently edited with an in-concert volume mix of Bloodgood tunes.
An up-close and personal vantage point provided by Director Paul Bloodgood's blood ties with his father - founder and bassist Michael Bloodgood. Don't forget the hilariously awkward footage of the former drummer's girlfriend - a glimpse of inner-band-workings that should be in every rockumentary. Bravo!
