ANTIDEMON - Tormenterror: Live From Santiago, Chile DVD
Three piece Brazilian death/ grind outfit Antidemon has been tearing up the underground for 24 years now, so it's about time that they have a fitting audio visual representation of their brutal live shows.
This is a full length concert filmed in Chile last year, featuring songs from all 4 full length albums. The DVD is very professionally done and packaged beautifully. It's a nice touch that the band kept the cover art in-house as well, as vocalist/metal pastor Carlos Batista drew it himself.
The bonus features just keep going and going for a whopping 174 minutes. There are two promo videos, "Welcome to Death" and "O Que Era Ruim Ficou Pior," more concert footage from various tours all over the world, and news reels from interviews about the Batistas' heavy metal church in Brazil called Crash Church.
To me that last part was the hidden treasure in this DVD — to see Pastor Batista and wife Juliana (one mean drummer!) ministering to metalheads, changing lives and hearts, and see a true metal worship service. Well done, guys! Region free DVD. 3.5 out of 5 stars (Vision of God Records)
