ELECTRIC JESUS: Interview With Wyatt Lenhart
I think he’s trying to prove to the world that psalms might be better received as a power ballad.

STRYPER: Even the Devil Believes
Stryper: Even The Devil Believes
(The second in a series of reviews that Heaven's Metal likes to do to offer more critical voices when possible.) Acknowledging Jesus's confirmed existence, death, and resurrection through even secular sources doesn't prevent people from playing amazing metal. In 1986 Stryper proved it with the double-platinum, MTV shaking "To Hell With The Devil". The problem was, could they ever match their Earth shattering album that paved the way for bands

Michael Sweet Talks Stryper & Even the Devil Believes

But before you go there, let's here the exchange I had this morning with Michael on this new album and other related issues. STRYPER Even the Devil Believes
STRYPER
Even the Devil Believes They say that even the devil believes that Jesus is God, the Ultimate Authority figure and the Creator of all things. Maybe now he’ll also believe that Stryper is a serious power metal band to be reckoned with. Hell, he probably figured that out back in 1984, but this album is a serious metal onslaught that has everything those testosterone-filled Stryper fans have been demanding for decades. Yep, it’s heavy as hell. While this reviewer loves

MICHAEL SWEET - Ten
With Ten Michael Sweet has delivered his strongest solo record to date. Any fan of the heavier guitar sounds of both early and more recent Stryper, will find much to embrace, both musically and lyrically. Musically, this is scorching melodic metal/rock bliss with hook-infested rhythm leads and blistering solos (courtesy of the great guest list!) balanced with engaging vocal melodies and catchy chorus anthems. Will Hunt once again handles all the drumming and John O’Boyle the

STRYPER Concert Review
Stryper was part of Budweiser’s Rock Empire Tour, featuring Queensryche, Great White, Vixen and (in Texas) Gandhi’s Gun (on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2019). When I heard reports that the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park was discounting tickets at $10, I was worried about a small crowd. All the hard rockers in and around Austin proved that notion wrong by packing the place in. It wasn’t sold out, but the floor and seats were pretty full. They were treated to a lots of loud ear candy. Strype

ZION- Thunder from the Mountain 2.0
Sioux Falls, South Dakota's Zion was a christian metal band from 1981-1992. Predating many of the pop metal bands of Christendom, like Stryper, Whitecross, or Holy Soldier, Zion sonically resembled Kiss, with driving hard rock guitars, hooks aplenty, bgv's, and memorable choruses. They were the first signing for Image Records and become the indie label's flagship brand. In 1988 Thunder From the Mountain was the band's sole full length outing, producing multiple hit singles a
